A nonprofit serving people nationwide

Getting people to the care they need.

Wherever you are in the country, we walk beside people who are unhoused, in crisis, or fighting a battle they can't fight alone, and we get them connected to real treatment and real support. Not a phone number on a flyer. An actual person who picks up, listens, and stays with you until you're in the door.

Our Mission

Help shouldn't be this hard to find.

Most people don't end up on the street or stuck in an addiction because they stopped trying. They end up there because the system that was supposed to catch them is a maze of waitlists, paperwork, phone trees, and closed doors. Reggie's Nonprofit exists to walk that maze for you.

  • We meet people where they are — on the street, in a shelter, in a hospital bed, or on the phone at 2 a.m. from anywhere in the country.
  • We find the right door — detox, treatment, housing, mental health care, medical care, benefits, whatever the real need is, in your area or wherever the right opening is.
  • We get you there — including the ride, the paperwork, and someone in your corner while you do it.
  • We don't disappear afterward — we check back in, because the week after is when most people fall through.
Nobody is beyond help. People just run out of people willing to help them. We're here so that never has to be the reason someone gives up.

Who We Help

If life has hit hard, you belong here.

We don't screen people out, and we don't care what state you're calling from. If you're struggling and you don't know where to turn, that's reason enough to call. These are some of the people we serve every week.

People experiencing homelessness

Living on the street, in a car, in a motel week to week, or couch to couch with nowhere stable to land.

Mental health struggles

Depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia, or a crisis that has gotten bigger than you can carry alone.

Addiction & recovery

Alcohol, opioids, meth, or anything else. Whether it's day one or a relapse after years, we help you get into treatment.

Veterans

Those who served and came home to a system that made getting care harder than it should ever have been.

Survivors of abuse & trauma

People leaving domestic violence, trafficking, or an unsafe home, and needing somewhere safe to go today.

Families in crisis

Eviction, job loss, an empty fridge, a parent falling apart. Sometimes a family just needs one thing to not collapse.

Seniors & people with disabilities

Neighbors who can't navigate appointments, benefits, or transportation on their own and have nobody to ask.

Youth & young adults

Kids aging out of foster care, young people on their own too early, and teens with nowhere safe to sleep tonight.

People starting over

Coming out of incarceration, a hospital, or treatment, and trying to build something before old patterns pull back.

Uninsured & underinsured

No Medicaid, no ID, no primary doctor, and a health problem that isn't waiting for the paperwork to clear.

Anyone who can't get there

People who have the appointment but no ride, no gas money, and no bus route that gets them there in time.

Families trying to help someone

Parents, spouses, and friends who love someone in crisis and have no idea what to do next. Call us. We'll walk you through it.

What We Do

Practical help, start to finish.

We're not a waiting room and we're not a hotline that hands you another number. Here's the actual work we do for the people who call us.

Care navigation

We sit down with you, figure out what's actually going on, and build a real plan with real options instead of guesswork.

Transportation to care

Local rides and long-distance travel to detox, treatment centers, clinics, and appointments. Getting there is where most people get stuck.

Placement support

We work a nationwide network of detox beds, treatment programs, sober living homes, and shelters to find an opening that fits.

Benefits & paperwork

Medicaid in your state, ID, disability, SNAP, birth certificates. The forms that quietly block people from getting care.

Basic needs

Food, water, clothing, hygiene kits, blankets, and a working phone so you can be reached when a bed opens up.

Follow-up & aftercare

We check back in after you're placed. The first weeks are the fragile ones, and nobody should go through them alone.

Family guidance

Coaching for the people who love someone in crisis: what to say, what to stop doing, and how to actually help.

Street outreach

Boots on the ground near our Las Vegas base and partners elsewhere, because a lot of the people who need us most will never call first.

Advocacy

Someone with you at intakes, hospitals, and agencies, in person or on the line, so you're treated like a person and not a case number.

How It Works

Three steps. No hoops.

1

Reach out

Call or text (818) 355-1200, email us, or fill out the form below. You can do it for yourself or for someone you love. There's no intake fee and no wrong way to ask.

2

We listen and make a plan

A real conversation, not a questionnaire. We find out what you need most right now, then match it to programs and providers near you that can actually take you.

3

We get you there

We handle the calls, the paperwork, and the travel, in your city or across state lines. Then we stay in touch after you're in, because getting help is a road, not a single door.

If this is an emergency, call 911. For a mental health or substance use crisis, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, free and available 24/7. Reggie's Nonprofit is not a 24-hour crisis line, and we'd rather you get immediate help first and call us after.

You don't have to figure this out alone.

Whether it's for you, your kid, your parent, or the person you pass on the way to work, one call starts it. We'll pick up.

Ways to Give

Every ride, bed, and second chance is paid for by someone.

We're a small organization doing hands-on work in communities across the country. Support here turns directly into gas in the tank, a bus ticket, a hygiene kit, a phone that works, and a person who makes it to their appointment.

Donate

A one-time gift or a monthly commitment. Monthly support is what lets us say yes when someone calls on a Tuesday night.

Give today

Volunteer

Drive someone to treatment, pack outreach bags, answer calls, or lend a skill. A few hours a month moves real weight.

Donate goods

Water, socks, blankets, hygiene supplies, non-perishable food, gift cards, and gently used clothing.

Partner with us

Treatment centers, clinics, shelters, churches, and employers, in any state. If you have a door to open, we have people ready to walk through it.
